Does Drove 196 of Jefferson presented the Freedom Rock committee a check for $1,000 last Tuesday.
Of that, $500 is from the Does treasury and $500 is from memorials in honor of Ruby Springer, a long time member of the Does.
The presentation was done in front of the rock that will become Greene County’s Freedom Rock when artist Bubba Sorenson comes to Jefferson next month.
